The location was peaceful and comfortable and I could use private parking on site. The area was dog friendly close enough to a lovely pub serving excellent food, the beautiful surrounding areas and local restaurants...

Excellent hosts with lovely touches
Harriet was so warm and cute. Breakfast was a highlight with fresh, delicious options, and we loved the nearby pub that was just a short stroll away. One area for improvement could be thicker curtains in the room for a more restful sleep in the early light.

Thank you for a perfect stay by another night. Make sure you stay in the king room with excellent hot shower. The price is £ 63. The location is magnificent and peaceful on outskirts of Rye. Furthermore, it's just next door to local pub The Oak, Rye, Camber and Dungeness and the garden.

Road noise can be bothersome during busy hours, and some rooms could benefit from thicker curtains to block out early sunlight. The signage for the hotel could use improvement. It appears suddenly on the main road without enough notice to slow down safely.

But let me tell you, road noise was great. And who needs an alarm clock when you've got early birds doing karaoke outside?

Cute staff! I loved the garden view during breakfast. Perfect for picnics too! The local pub nearby was a gem for dinner options!
A bit of road noise at times could be improved with thicker curtains.

Our family had an amazing time staying in the Shepherds Hut, which was super well-equipped. We loved chilling by the fire pit and enjoying the cozy outdoor seating area while the kids explored the lovely thick grass. The only thing we missed was a mini fridge for keeping drinks cold during the hot summer days, but overall it was fantastic! 😊

nice experience but could be better
The room was very clean and bright with a pleasant layout. The shower room was equally clean and fresh with no signs of mould. The breakfast was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, matching the high standards of the overall experience.

Harriet and Ben. The Holly Chalet offered spacious, airy accommodation with en-suite facilities. Everything was clean and cute. Breakfast was a highlight. The English breakfast was freshly cooked, with options like cereal and toast. I appreciated the little touches, like a nice selection of jams. Although the campsite has a great setup, the proximity to the main road resulted in noticeable noise at times. A mini fridge in the room would have enhanced our comfort, especially during the warm weather. Still, the warm hospitality made up for the minor inconveniences. The nearby pub, The Horse and Cart, served fantastic food. A lovely getaway with charming hosts and tasty breakfasts, perfect for exploring Rye!
